Rev. Fr. Francis Vincent Manche'. 1884-1919  

The first parish Priest of Stella Maris and of all Sliema. At the age of 31 he took charge of the Stella Maris Parish Church on Monday 21 st January 1884. During his years as Parish Priest various embellishment projects took place. Fr. Manche was one of the founders of the Stella Maris Band Club.

He died on the 2 nd March 1918 and is buried inside the church.

Rev. Fr. Raphael Capurro 1919-1940

 Parish Priest Capurro was born in Senglea and before he was appointed Parish Priest of Stella Maris, he served as Parish Priest at St.Paul’s Parish church of Safi. Fr.Capurro was a famed preacher and orator.

In 1940 he was made Canon of the Cathedral of Malta.

Rev. Fr Guzepp Inguanez 1942-1965

A true son of the Stella Maris Parish, for a time he served as Parish Priest of Kirkop before returning to the his home town in 1942 during the war to take charge of our parish in February 1942.

Fr. Inguanez with his charismatic personality was the inspiration and force behind the reconstruction of the church after the destruction left by the war.

In 1965 he was appointed a Canon of the Cathedral of Malta.

Rev. Fr. Guido Calleja. 1965-1974

Born in Sliema, Fr.Calleja before taking charge of the Stella Maris Parish Church served as Parish Priest of St.Julians.

n 1974 he became a Canon of the Cathedral

Rev. Fr. Karm Bianco. 1974-1985

Fr.Bianco was born in B’kara and for some years he served as Parish Priest of Imqabba, In April 1974 he took charge of the Stella Maris Church. During his years a parish priest various embellishment project took place and the celebrations of the first Centenary of the Parish Church took place.

He died in 2001.

Rev. Fr Joe Bugeja. 1985-1993  

Fr.Joe was born in Imqabba and served as Parish Priest of Sta.Lucija and later as ArchPriest of Zejtun, before taking charge of our Parish in 1985. Restoration works were undertaken under his initiative and supervision

In 1993 he was made Parish Priest of Imsida

Fr Raphael Pace. 1993-2004.

Parish Priest Pace Lupi was born in Sliema . He served as Parish Priest of Our Lady of Lourdes of Paola before taking charge of our Parish in 1993.

Fr Joe Bartolo. 2004.

Fr Joe is our new Parish Priest he was appointed on the 17 th October 2004.
